Jim has been a Realtor in Kitchener-Waterloo for over 45 years, representing buyers and sellers in the Golden Triangle (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge & Guelph), plus surrounding communities such as New Hamburg, Ayr, Baden, Heidelberg, St. Clements, Drayton, Salem/Elora, Elmira and others! During Jim’s years of service with the Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board, he was an enthusiastic member of the education committee.
Jim has consistently achieved the highest performance levels within the Re/Max organization including the “Platinum Award” (2002-2022), “Hall of Fame Award” (1997) and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” (2004). Developing a loyal following and delivering top notch service is his ultimate goal.
Jim is an active Charter member of the Rotary Club of Kitchener-Grand River since 1985 where he has gained leadership and people skills in many facets of club activities. His involvement includes: past president, past chairman of programs, speaker and membership committees, Associate District Governor, Skate 48 hockey tournament (fundraiser for Kids Ability), Polio Plus sponsor, Downtown Mud Puppy Chase. In addition to serving as a member of several boards of directors, Jim is also an annual contributor to the Rotary Foundation and has been named a Rotary Paul Harris fellow.
He was also involved for 40 years with the K-W Sales and Advertising Club, including duties as a member of the board of directors and past president. He has been a “community partner” through membership and/or sponsorship with the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, KW Oktoberfest, Hospice Waterloo Region, and Junior Achievement.
Jim is a member and regular squash player at K-W Racquet Club since 1972, and a past member of Northfield Racquet Club and Westmount Golf & Country Club. Jim has also been involved in Waterloo minor league sports both as a sponsor and coach of soccer and baseball. Jim has been a generous supporter of the arts community in the region including Neruda Productions, Drayton Entertainment, Kitchener Blues festival, and Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival.

Not originally from this area, Shannon has lived in both large city environments and small-town communities. She has been happily married for over 30 years and has three children. With a background in Natural Resources, Shannon has a ‘down to earth’ approach to coaching clients in the process of buying or selling a home. Prior to entering into a career of Real Estate, she owned her own business for several years. Also, with hands-on experience renovating previous homes, Shannon has the expertise and understanding, as well as the ability to determine practical and economical remedies to areas of concern. Further, by identifying positive and negative features of different homes as they specifically relate to the client’s requirements, she provides an extra level of service.
